Puente Tolteca
Bridging Art, Knowledge, and Community
Puente Tolteca is a community arts and education program that connects people through learning, creativity, and dialogue. Through a series of workshops led by local educators and practitioners, the program explores issues that shape our communities—from education and housing to migration and environmental justice. Each cycle culminates in a community art exhibition, where shared learning is transformed into creative expression.
Puente Tolteca is grounded in the belief that every person carries part of the story. Its strength comes from the people themselves. By integrating education and art, the program supports communities in telling their own stories, fostering collective healing, and strengthening the bridges that connect individuals, cultures, and place.

Black and Brown in the I.E. and Beyond
The Inland Empire, seen through those that carry it and give it form

Black and Brown in the I.E. and Beyond offers artistic engagement with local history, allowing community members to see their home through the eyes of participating artists. Across four workshops and in collaboration with San Bernardino Valley College, the Civil Rights Institute, Casa Pitzer, and The Cheech Marin Center for Chicano Art & Culture, professors and field experts shared insights on housing, education, environmental justice, and other issues that shape our communities. Exhibit is currently up and open at The Cheech until March 15, 2026
